At 3.00 am ET Monday, Destatis is set to release Germany's industrial production and foreign trade figures. Industrial production is expected to grow 1.7 percent on month in January, reversing a 3.5 percent drop in December.
Ahead of the data, the euro held steady against its major rivals. The euro was worth 1.1399 against the greenback, 117.01 against the yen, 1.0549 against the franc and 0.8716 against the pound as of 2:55 am ET.
