At 5.00 am ET Tuesday, Eurostat has released euro area consumer price data.
After the data, the euro changed little against its major counterparts.
The euro was trading at 1.0981 against the greenback, 119.14 against the yen, 1.0586 against the franc and 0.8915 against the pound around 5:05 am ET.
