After the release of the Federal Housing Finance Agency's house price index for February at 9:00 am ET Wednesday, the greenback traded mixed against its major counterparts. While the currency ticked up against the franc and the euro, it changed little against the yen and the pound.

The greenback was trading at 107.72 against the yen, 1.0865 against the euro, 1.2366 against the pound and 0.9689 against the franc around 9:01 am ET.
