UK IHS Markit/CIPS construction PMI survey data has been released at 4.30 am ET Wednesday. The pound fell further against its major rivals following the data.
The pound was trading at 1.2370 against the greenback, 131.59 against the yen, 1.2064 against the franc and 0.8729 against the euro around 4:35 am ET.
