India's foreign exchange reserves increased as on July 30, a latest report from the Reserve Bank of India showed on Friday.
Foreign exchange reserves totaled US$284.183 billion as on July 30, up from US$282.938 billion as on July 23. Foreign currency assets reserves increased to US$258.55 billion from US$256.714 billion last week. At the same time, the gold reserves decreased to US$19.28 billion from US$19.89 billion.
Meanwhile, nation's reserve position with the International Monitory Fund amounted to US$1.348 billion, larger than the US$1.343 billion recorded in the preceding week.
