During early Asian trading on Tuesday, the Australian dollar declined against its US counterpart mainly due to across the board strengthening of the latter.
The aussie slipped to a 4-day low of 0.9153 against the greenback before reversing its direction slightly around 7:40 pm ET. If the pair weakens further, 0.91 is seen as the next likely support level.
The aussie-buck pair is presently worth near Monday's New York session closing value of 0.9168.
