The Australian dollar extended its previous session downtrend against the Canadian dollar during New York mid-day trading on Wednesday. At 11:50 am ET, the Aussie dropped to a new multi-day low of 0.9254 versus the loonie, compared to yesterday's close of 0.9346. On the downside, 0.9249 is seen as the next target level for the Aussie.
