2010.08.1814:44:00UTC+00Aussie Recovers Early Losses Against Majors

The Australian dollar recovered from early downward trading against major opponents during New York afternoon deals on Wednesday. The Aussie is currently trading near 0.9012 against the US dollar and 76.94 versus the Japanese yen from previous session's lows of 0.8975 and 76.57, respectively.

After touching new multi-day lows of 0.9254 against the Canadian dollar and 1.4332 versus the euro at around 11:45 am ET, the Aussie reversed its direction thereafter. As of now, the Australian currency is trading at 1.4292 against the euro and 0.9272 versus the loonie.
