Following the release of Statistics Canada's leading indicators for July and wholesale trade data for June at 8:30 am ET, the Canadian dollar edged down against its major counterparts. Currently, the loonie is quoted at 1.3243 against the euro, 1.03 versus the US dollar and 82.85 against the yen.
