The US dollar depreciated almost 0.9 percent to reach a 2-day low of 85.18 against the yen around 8:40 am ET from its Asian session's 3-day high of 85.93. The greenback-yen pair is presently worth 85.28 and a move below its August 11th low of 84.74 could set its weakest mark in more than 15 years.
