The Australian dollar extended its early morning session downtrend against the US dollar and the euro in New York mid-day trading on Thursday. As of now, the Aussie is trading near fresh multi-day lows of 0.8924 against the greenback and 1.4393 versus the euro from previous session's highs of 0.9020 and 1.4229, respectively.
