Extending previous session upward trading, the US dollar advanced further against the Turkish lira in New York afternoon trading on Thursday. At 2:15 pm ET, the greenback jumped to 1.5145 versus the lira, which may be compared to yesterday's closing value of 1.5020. This set a 2-day high for the US currency. The next upside target level for the US currency is seen at 1.5173.
