The Swiss franc traded higher against major currencies during New York morning deals on Friday from previous session's downward trading.

After touching new multi-day lows of 1.5860 against the British pound, 1.3076 versus the euro and 1.0280 against the US dollar at around 8:30 am ET, the franc reversed its direction and as of now worth 1.5663, 1.2960 and 1.0184, respectively.

Against its Japanese counterpart, the Swiss currency also edged up from previous session's 2-week low of 81.88, today. Currently, the franc-yen pair is trading near 82.64.
