Producer and import price data from Switzerland along with current account data from France are due on Monday, headlining a light day for European economic news. All times in ET.

Major economic news released on Friday were mostly positive, with French industrial output rising more than expected in July while Italy's June quarter GDP growth was revised up. The U.K.'s factory price inflation eased in August.

At 2:45 am, the Bank of France is scheduled to release current account data for July. A current account deficit of 2.7 billion euros was recorded in June.

Producer and import price inflation data for August is due from the Swiss statistical office at 3:15 am. Producer and import prices had risen 0.5% annually in July.

At 3:30 am, the Dutch statistical office is slated to release trade data for July. A trade surplus of 2.7 billion euros was recorded in June.

Current account data for July is due from the Czech Republic at 4:00 am. Economists expect the current account deficit to fall to 14 billion korunas from 15 billion korunas in the prior month.

Elsewhere, the Swedish Public Employment Service is due to release unemployment data for August. The unemployment rate was at 4.8% in July.
