The British pound that strengthened against other major currencies in early European session on Monday pared its gains shortly. The pound thus eased from multi-day highs against the dollar and the yen and it fell to multi-day lows against the euro and the franc.
As of now, the pound is trading at a 4-day low of 1.5609 against the franc and a 6-day low of 0.8317 against the euro. Against the dollar and the yen, the pound is currently worth 1.5401 and 129.45, respectively.
