The Canadian currency traded higher against major currencies during early New York trading on Monday. At present, the loonie is trading near 1.0297 against the US dollar, 81.65 versus the yen, 1.3191 against the euro and 0.9609 versus the Australian dollar from previous session's lows of 1.0348, 81.23, 1.3249 and 0.9632, respectively.
