During New York morning trading on Monday, the Swiss franc surged up against most of its major counterparts. As of now, the franc is trading near new multi-day highs of 1.5563 against the British pound, 1.0102 versus the US dollar and 83.15 against the yen, which may be compared to last week's closing values of 1.5654, 1.0193 and 82.64, respectively.
