The Brazilian economy posted job gains for the seventh consecutive month in October, with a 76,599 net increase during the period, according to data from the Labor Ministry. It was the most robust monthly job creation so far in 2017.
The data showed that in October 1,187,819 people were hired, while 1,111,220 employees were fired.
From January to October, the Brazilian economy created 302,189 jobs, but in the 12 months ended in October, the country still posts a net loss of 294,305 jobs.
