Croatia industrial production decreased for a second straight month in August, figures from the Bureau of Statistics showed on Friday.
The industrial production index decreased 1 percent year-on-year following a 0.9 percent slump in July. The latest fall was the biggest since April, when output decreased 1.3 percent.
Manufacturing output decreased 1.7 percent after a 1 percent fall in July.
Capital goods output shrunk 13.5 percent and consumer durables production decreased 9.6 percent. Manufacture of non-durables decreased 2 percent.
Intermediate goods output increased 5.1 percent and energy production grew 3.2 percent.
Compared to the previous month, industrial production decreased 3.7 percent in August, entirely erasing a similar size gain in the previous month.
