In July 2025, Poland's industrial output experienced a year-over-year increase of 2.9%, surpassing market forecasts of 1.6% and marking a recovery from the previously adjusted 0.4% decline in June. This improvement was largely driven by a significant rise in manufacturing output, which climbed by 3.4% compared to no change in June. Meanwhile, the rate of decline softened in both mining and quarrying, with output decreasing by 6.7%, an improvement from the 8.3% drop, and in the electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply sector, which fell by 1.8% after a 6.7% decrease. Conversely, production in water supply, sewerage, waste management, and remediation activities slightly eased, with growth recorded at 3.1% compared to 3.2% in the previous month. On a month-to-month basis, industrial output rose by 0.2% in July, recovering from a 1.4% decline that had been revised downwards for June.
