In July 2025, Romania's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate slightly decreased to 5.8%, following an upward revision in June's rate to 6.0%. The number of unemployed individuals saw a reduction of 18,900 from the previous month, totaling 471,200. When considering gender, the unemployment rate for men held steady at 6.0%, whereas it declined for women, moving from 6.0% to 5.5%.
