In October 2025, China's producer prices fell by 2.1% compared to the previous year. This represents a marginal improvement from the 2.3% decline observed in the prior month and signifies the smallest decrease since August 2024. Despite this slight improvement, the contraction continues for the 37th straight month. The outcome was slightly more favorable than market forecasts, which had anticipated a 2.2% decline.
