In December 2025, Russia witnessed a 3.7% year-on-year growth in industrial output, surpassing analysts' predictions of a 1% decline. This follows a revised 0.4% increase in November and represents the most significant rise in industrial activity since December 2024. On a monthly scale, industrial production experienced a substantial 19% increase, recovering from a 2.6% decrease in the previous month. For the entire year of 2025, industrial output grew by 1.3%, a notable decrease from the 5.1% rise observed the year prior and slightly below the government's projected 1.5%.
