Turkey’s consumer price inflation moderated in March 2026, with the year-over-year Consumer Price Index (CPI) easing to 30.87%, down from 31.53% in February, according to data updated on 3 April 2026.
Both readings reflect annual changes, comparing each month with the same period a year earlier. February’s 31.53% figure measured price growth versus February of the previous year, while March’s 30.87% reading captures the change relative to March a year ago.
The slight decline suggests a modest cooling in inflationary pressures, though price growth remains elevated on an annual basis and continues to be a central focus for households, businesses and policymakers in Turkey.
