The consumer confidence indicator in the Czech Republic rose to 106.5 in June 2026 from 103.4 in May, rebounding after two consecutive monthly declines. Expectations for the overall economic situation over the next 12 months improved, as the share of consumers anticipating a deterioration in the domestic economy declined.
Sentiment regarding personal finances also strengthened: more households now expect an improvement in their financial situation over the coming year, while the proportion of respondents who consider their current financial situation worse than a year earlier remained unchanged. At the same time, the share of consumers who do not plan any major purchases in the next 12 months edged down slightly compared with May. Concerns about rising prices and a further increase in unemployment were broadly unchanged from the previous month.
