Swiss investor sentiment weakened notably in June 2026, falling to -25.0 from -11.1 in May, and remaining clearly in negative territory, according to the UBS & CFA Society Switzerland survey. The expectations index dropped by 13.9 points on the month, partially unwinding the gains seen over the previous two months as confidence faded following the recovery from the downturn triggered by the Middle East conflict. Despite the softer near-term outlook, UBS reported that expectations for long-term economic growth and inflation were broadly unchanged from March levels. In contrast, views on current economic conditions improved: the current conditions index climbed to +2.8 in June from -2.8 in May.
