Thailand’s exports rose 10.6% year-on-year in May 2026, a sharp slowdown from April’s 23.1% jump—the fastest pace in three months—and below market expectations of 11.6%. May’s performance marked the weakest export growth since February. Last month, the commerce ministry projected that, under its base-case scenario, exports would increase by 3% for the full year, with the outlook ranging from a 3% contraction to an 8% expansion.
