2008.12.1501:59:00UTC+00Pakistan Rupee Falls To New Multi-Week Low Versus US Dollar

The Pakistan rupee fell sharply against its US counterpart during Monday's early trading. At about 12:10 am ET, the Pakistan currency touched 79.61 against the buck, compared to Friday's closing value of 77.18. This set a lowest point for the rupee since November 19. On the downside, the Pakistan rupee may likely target the 79.89 level.
