At 2:25 am ET Thursday, the British pound made a sharp spike higher against other major currencies. As of now, the pound is trading at a fresh 2-month high of 1.5243 against the dollar and a new multi-day high of 134.64 against the yen. Against the euro and the franc, the pound is currently worth 0.8312 and 1.6040, respectively.
