The U.S. Labor Department released its customary jobless claims data for the week ended July 3 at 8:30 am ET Thursday. Amid the release of the report, the dollar showed mixed trading against other major currencies. The dollar rose against the yen, but it was little changed against the franc, the yen and the euro.
As of now, the dollar is worth 1.5154 against the pound, 1.0522 against the franc, 88.22 against the yen and 1.2667 against the euro.
