2010.07.1913:33:00UTC+00NZ Dollar Recovers Recent Losses Against Majors

The New Zealand dollar recovered from recent losses against major currencies in New York mid-day deals on Monday. After touching new multi-day lows of 0.7033 against the US dollar, 61.00 versus the Japanese yen and 1.2333 against the Australian dollar at about 10:50 am ET, the kiwi slightly reversed its direction and currently trading near 0.7069, 61.36 and 1.2319, respectively.

Against its European single currency, the kiwi also recouped from recent multi-week low of 1.8454, today. Presently, the NZ dollar is trading near 1.8359 versus the euro.
