The German PPI report for June has been slated for release at 2:00 am ET Tuesday. Ahead of the release, the euro gained against the dollar and the yen, but it moved sideways against the pound and the franc. At 1:55 am ET, the euro traded at 1.2981 against the dollar, 112.98 against the yen, 1.3657 against the franc and 0.8500 against the pound.
