An indicator of business conditions in South Korea's manufacturing sector fell in July.
The Bank of Korea said the business survey index fell to 103 from 105 in the previous month. The central bank also forecast the indicator to fall further to 102 in August.
At the same time, the business conditions index for the non-manufacturing sector rose to 89 from 88. The indicator is forecast to remain unchanged at 89 in August.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, the manufacturing sentiment index fell to 105 from 106, while the non-manufacturing index climbed to 89 from 86.
