The Australian currency that slumped to a 6-day low of 0.8908 against the US dollar at the beginning of Thursday's Asian trading bounced back and hit as high as 0.8968 in late trading. The aussie-greenback pair that was worth 0.8935 at Wednesday's close is currently quoted at 0.8956.
