At 3:55 am ET Thursday, Germany's labor ministry is scheduled to release unemployment data for July. Ahead of the release of the report, the euro showed mixed trading against other major currencies. While the euro shed few of its recent gains against the dollar and the yen, it recovered recent losses against the pound. Against the franc, the euro moved sideways. At 3:50 am ET, the euro traded at 1.3737 against the franc, 1.3028 against the dollar, 113.81 against the yen and 0.8343 against the pound.
