Against the dollar and the pound, the yen rose sharply at 6:45 am ET Thursday. As of now, the yen is trading at a 6-day high of 86.75 against the dollar and a 2-day high of 135.67 against the pound. The next upside target level for the yen is seen at 86.3 against the dollar and 131.3 against the pound.
