The Australian dollar advanced to its highest level in 1-month against the US dollar during early trading on Wednesday.
The aussie touched as high as 0.9184 against the greenback before briefly reversing the trend around 7:10 pm ET.
The aussie-buck pair is presently worth 0.9172 and a move above the 0.9230 resistance could set its peak in more than 4-months.
