News:

  • German chancellor Merkel said that the economic growth for the country would be above expectations in 2010.
  • The govt. expects the economy to grow by 1.4 pct this year, though the economy minister had said that the economy can comfortably grow by around 2 pct.
  • The Bundesbank last month raised the growth forecast for the economy to 3 pct.
