The US dollar spiked up against major currencies after the release of U.S. non-farm payroll report and unemployment rate, both for October at 8.30 a.m. ET Friday. At present, the greenback is trading near 1.4071 against the euro, 81.26 versus the yen, 1.6205 against the British pound and 0.9621 versus the franc.
