The European common currency slipped against most major currencies in New York mid-morning deals on Monday. At present, the euro is trading near 1.3394 against the Swiss franc, 112.69 versus the yen, 0.8458 against the British pound and 1.3595 versus the US dollar from early highs of 1.3442, 113.43, 0.8500 and 1.3669, respectively.
