News:

  • By 1357 GMT, gilts cut some of their earlier losses to stand 65 ticks lower at 121.71, close to a three-month low
  • In the cash market, the yield on ten-year gilts was almost 7 bps higher at 3.261 pct, tightening the spread against Bunds by around 3 bps to 70
  • In supply, the DMO will auction 3.25bn pounds of the Sept 2020 gilt on Thursday
