During European deals on Tuesday, the Japanese yen has been recouping its late Asian session's loss against most major currencies. The yen thus came off from a 5-day low against the dollar and a 1-week low against the franc.
At present, the yen is worth 83.40 against the dollar, 84.34 against the franc and 132.80 against the pound.
