The European currency edged slightly lower against its major rivals following the release of Germany's unemployment report for October at 2:00 am ET Tuesday. At present, the euro is quoted at 1.3106 against the US dollar, 110.16 against the yen, 0.8427 versus the pound and 1.3083 against the Swiss franc.
