During New York mid-day deals on Thursday, the Canadian dollar traded higher versus most major currencies. As of now, the loonie is trading near 83.26 against the yen, 0.9927 versus the Australian dollar and 1.3310 against the euro, compared to Wednesday's close of 83.12, 0.9911 and 1.3416, respectively.
