The New Zealand dollar that lacked a clear direction against most of its major rivals in the previous session edged lower in early New York trading on Friday. As of 8:10 am ET, the NZ dollar was quoted at 0.7702 against the US dollar, 62.98 versus the yen, 1.7704 against the euro and 1.3202 against the Australian dollar.
