The US dollar extended its previous session's downtrend versus the Canadian dollar in early trading on Thursday. At present, the greenback is trading nearly a 2-week low of 0.9838 against the Canadian dollar and this may be compared to yesterday's close of 0.9851. The next downside target for the pair is likely to be seen around the 0.9810 level.
