Brazil's current account deficit narrowed to $3.34 billion in February from $5.40 billion in January, central bank data showed on Friday. Economists had expected a deficit of $3.65 billion.
The current account deficit narrowed mainly due to an increase in the goods trade surplus to $1.19 billion from January's $424 million.
At the same time, the deficit in services and income balance shrank to $5.07 billion from $6.02 billion.
