Mexico logged a trade surplus of $275 million in February, higher than $69 million surplus in January, data released by the statistical office INEGI showed on Friday. A year ago, the surplus was $423 million.
Exports rose 20.9 percent annually to $25.75 billion and imports grew 22 percent to $25.47 billion.
On a seasonally adjusted basis, exports fell 0.41 percent to $28 billion and imports grew 1.22 percent to $28.30 billion. The trade balance turned to a deficit of $293.6 million in February from $160.7 million surplus in January.
