Swiss chemicals maker Sika on Friday reported a net profit increase of 21.8 percent for the year 2016.
The company said its net profit increased to 566.6 million francs, exceeding the 558 million francs profit estimates of analysts in a Reuters poll.
Sika, which had already previously reported a 5.6 percent rise in revenue in local currencies to 5.75 billion francs, said it plans to increase sales by 6 to 8 percent to an initial figure of 6 billion francs in 2017.
