In early Asian deals on Wednesday at 9:30 pm ET, Australia's wage cost index for the first quarter is due for release. Ahead of the data, the aussie moved sideways against its major counterparts.
At 9:25 pm ET, the aussie was worth 1.0627 against the U.S. dollar, 1.3408 against the euro, 86.49 against the yen and 1.3538 against the New Zealand dollar.
